The Government of Pará continues, this Sunday (26), with the final stage of the Paraense Skate Street Circuit

In Marabá, the selection gathers more than 100 athletes from various age groups

The 3rd and final stage of the Paraense Skate Street Circuit 2025 began in Marabá, in the southeastern state, on Saturday (25), with registration and the track recognition phase by athletes from all competing categories: Children, Mini, Beginner, Amateur, and Master. The circuit continues this Sunday (26).

The competition, promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), in partnership with the Paraense Skate Federation (FPS), continues this Sunday (26), starting at 8 am, with an expected end at 5:30 pm, when the representatives of the state for the Brazilian Skate Championship, which will be held in the states of Paraná and Mato Grosso, will be known.

The state selection promises to energize the regional sports scene with the presence of more than 100 athletes from various age groups and strengthens the sport in the interior of Pará. Athlete Jadson Vasconcelos, 27 years old, from the amateur category and a beneficiary of the Government of Pará's Bolsa Talento program, highlighted his preparation and the support received.

“We have been preparing all year, this is the 3rd and final stage. The partnership between Seel and the Federation has provided opportunities for several athletes. The Bolsa Talento is a great help for travel, accommodation, and materials, which are expensive. This support is essential for us to continue evolving,” said Jadson.

Athlete Ruana Sales, 16 years old, from the female beginner category and also a beneficiary of the Bolsa Talento, reinforced the importance of the State Government's support. “It is important to know that the state government supports us, especially skateboarding, which is gaining visibility now. This support was what motivated me the most to continue training every day,” said Ruana.

Lucas Figueiredo, 10 years old, is in the mini category and experiences this moment as a learning and fun opportunity. “It’s going to be really cool. It’s the last qualifying stage for the Brazilian Championship. I’m happy to participate, training with my family’s support,” said the athlete.

After stages in Salinas and Belém, the selection continues this Sunday (26) in Marabá, in the southeast of Pará

The State Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, highlighted the importance of the Circuit for strengthening urban sports in Pará and for revealing new talents.

“The Paraense Skate Circuit is one of the actions that most symbolizes the spirit of inclusion and talent discovery in sports. These stages not only qualify athletes for the national scene but also bring young people closer to sports and promote citizenship in all regions of the state,” emphasized the secretary.

Schedule and Categories

This Sunday (26), registration for the categories also starts at 8 am, followed by warming up for the male children’s category at 9 am and the official start of the competitions at 9:05 am.

The categories are divided by age group:

Children: 6 to 8 years
Mini: 9 to 12 years
Beginner: 13 to 16 years
Amateur: 16 to 30 years
Master: 32 to 40 years

Stages

The Paraense Skate Street Circuit 2025 consisted of three stages: the 1st stage in Salinópolis, the 2nd in Belém, and now the 3rd and final in Marabá, consolidating the state calendar of the sport and revealing new names of Pará skateboarding towards the national scene.
