Sefa seizes 800 tires and electrical materials
The seizure of the tires occurred in Santarém. The cargo came from Amazonas. In Marabá, electrical and construction materials were also seized.
At the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Tapajós, from the State Department of Finance of Pará (Sefa), in Baixo Amazonas, state revenue inspectors seized, on Monday (27), in the municipality of Santarém, 800 automotive tires, valued at R$ 240,000.00.
“The inspection teams approached a vessel coming from Manaus (AM) destined for Santarém, after prior monitoring, in a joint effort with the team from the Regional Coordination of Sefa in Santarém. The vessel was transporting two trucks containing the 800 tires: 400 had an internal invoice from Amazonas, valid exclusively for circulation within that State, and the other 400 were without any fiscal documentation,” said coordinator Roberto Mota.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued in the amount of R$ 82,080.00, referring to the tax and fine.
Electrical and construction materials - Inspection carried out at the Carajás Railway post, in Marabá, southeast of the State, also on the 27th, by state revenue inspectors assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Carajás, seized 14,000 volumes of electrical and construction materials, valued at R$ 537,733.15, in a truck transporting goods from the municipality of Itapecerica da Serra/SP, destined for Marabá.
“After document analysis and consultations to the electronic invoice systems, it was found that the taxpayer collected the ICMS related to the interstate operation at a lower rate, since the transport originated in the State of São Paulo, and not in Goiás, as had been declared,” reported coordinator Cicinato Oliveira.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up in the amount of R$ 47,879.76, charging ICMS and fine.
