With the purpose of strengthening school management, promoting direct dialogue with educational communities, and improving pedagogical and structural actions throughout Pará, the State Department of Education (Seduc) continues its strategic visits to the Regional Education Directorates (DREs).

On this Monday (3), the Seduc team was at DRE Belém 1, which serves 23 schools in the neighborhoods of Pratinha, Val-de-Cans, Maracangalha, and Telégrafo.

The program was led by the State Secretary of Education, Ricardo Sefer, who emphasized the importance of closely listening to managers, teachers, and students.

“Education is made with people. It is essential to ensure adequate and safe infrastructure, but what truly transforms the school are the people who build learning every day: the teachers, managers, staff, and students,” emphasized the secretary.

The visits focus on identifying needs, aligning strategies, and ensuring that each Regional Directorate and school in the state network receives the necessary support to provide an excellent public education.

During the agenda, the secretary visited the state schools Ruy Paranatinga Barata, Professor Antônio Moreira Júnior, Renato Pinheiro Conduru, Presidente Castelo Branco, and Eunice Weaver.

The director of the State School Renato Conduru, Valdenor Cunha, highlighted the importance of the initiative.

“This is the first time an education secretary visits our school. This presence shows sensitivity and commitment to the reality of the network. Being heard and having this direct contact renews our enthusiasm and reinforces the sense of belonging for all of us,” said the manager.

DRE Belém 1 is the 20th Regional Education Directorate visited by Seduc management, which maintains the commitment to visit all 40 DREs in the State by December, ensuring a participatory, integrated management focused on concrete results in learning and valuing public education.
