In Capanema, Regional Hospital of Caetés celebrates 6 years of operation

The Public Regional Hospital of Caetés (HRPC), in Capanema, completed six years of operation on Thursday (6), with a social action in the Caíque neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city. The initiative is part of the anniversary program and was conceived by the Humanization Working Group (GTH) of the hospital, which promotes the campaign "Absorbing Affection," distributing sanitary pads to 130 women in situations of social vulnerability.

The "Absorbing Affection" campaign is part of the GTH's initiatives aimed at human appreciation and bringing the HRPC closer to the local community. Other actions commemorating the date will also be carried out throughout this month of November.

"I was happy with this action. We don't always have the means to buy this type of product, and receiving this care from the hospital shows that they really care about us, our health, and our dignity," said Silvana Pereira de Sousa, 34, a resident of the Caíque neighborhood.

For the president of the GTH, Vanessa Blante, the moment symbolizes the true meaning of the work being developed. "Each initiative has the purpose of our group, which is to provide care and support beyond the walls of the hospital. The 'Absorbing Affection' campaign is a simple gesture, but it carries a profound meaning of respect, empathy, and appreciation for women," she emphasized.
