Sefa seizes over 2 million liters of diesel and nearly 300 thousand liters of gasoline on the Tapajós River
Already in Óbidos, various goods worth R$ 39,279.35 were seized in the hold of a vessel that left the city of Manaus.
At the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of the Tapajós, from the State Department of Finance of Pará (Sefa), in Baixo Amazonas, 2,055,076 liters of diesel oil and 295,656 liters of common gasoline were seized this Friday (07), which were being transported without tax documents. The value of the cargo is R$ 8,735,733.39.
“During an inspection on the Tapajós River, a tributary of the Amazon River, a fuel barge was approached near the municipality of Santarém, which was transporting fuel. The person responsible for the vessel informed that it would head to Miritituba, a district of the municipality of Itaituba (PA). After the inspection began, the company from Santarém issued two transfer invoices for the fuel,” reported coordinator Roberto Mota.
To collect the ICMS and the fine, three Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) were drawn up: one for the diesel and another for the gasoline, and the third for obstruction of the inspection, totaling R$ 4,928,217.63.
Various - On 11/05, in Óbidos, various goods worth R$ 39,279.35 were seized in the hold of a vessel that left the city of Manaus/AM bound for Óbidos/PA.
“During the inspection, the team of inspectors, together with the Military Police, seized various goods, including 47 tires, watches, and auto parts. The goods were hidden in the hold of the vessel and did not have a valid invoice to cover the transport of the cargo,” explained the coordinator of Tapajós, Roberto Mota.
Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs) were drawn up, collecting the tax and fine, totaling R$ 12,021.97.
