During the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), from the 10th to the 21st of this month, the facilities managed by the State Secretariat of Culture (Secult) will have special operating hours, opening every day from 9am to 5pm. This measure expands access for residents and tourists to a special program that includes exhibitions, concerts, festivals, and free activities in various cultural spaces of the State.

“Culture is a fundamental part of the synthesis we need to convey to the world, which combines climate resilience with development and opportunity. We are showing the planet the diversity of expressions that make Pará a unique territory. These spaces preserve our memory, celebrate our traditions, and project our voices into the future,” emphasizes the head of Secult, Ursula Vidal.

“We will have the Amazon in all its power: the art that arises from the rivers and forests, but also from our urbanities; the identity preserved in our museums, which carry the collective memory; and the virtuosity of our artistic bodies from Theatro da Paz. We will show the world that Pará has a vibrant, diverse culture that is, above all, committed,” adds Ursula Vidal.
