The State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), in an integrated action with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) and partner agencies, monitors this Sunday (9) the first phase of the National High School Exam (Enem) 2025, in 86 municipalities of Pará. With 619 test locations, the security scheme involves the action of more than 4,000 agents, mobilized since 8 a.m., for the logistics of distributing the test packages and monitoring the exam, which started at noon with the opening of the gates.

Constant monitoring in the distribution of test packages

In Pará, there are 229,181 registered candidates, most distributed across the 86 municipalities in this first phase, on November 9 and 16. Subsequently, the task force will operate on November 30 and December 7, in the municipalities of Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba - where the Enem was postponed due to the holding of COP30.

The delivery of the packages, made by the Post Office with the support of the Military Police, occurred without incidents at the exam locations, from 10 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. this Sunday. After the deliveries, the agents remain on standby, monitoring all movement around the test locations throughout the exam.

Mobilization since early Sunday morning

“Our public security teams continue to reinforce actions in 86 municipalities in Pará, where the exams are being held this Sunday, with the main objective of ensuring tranquility in the escort of the test packages, which is carried out before and after the exam. So far, everything is proceeding normally as planned, so that everyone can take the exam with the necessary security,” informed Ualame Machado, Secretary of State for Public Security and Social Defense.

Monitoring - In Belém, the security forces are concentrated in the Situation Room of the Civil Defense Coordination, at the General Command of the Military Fire Brigade, receiving information, monitoring data, and communicating with the 14 Regional Centers spread across the State for data reception and alignment.

The Operations Coordinator of Segup, Lieutenant Colonel Celton de Jesus, stated that the first day of the exam application in the interior of the State is proceeding as planned, without changes. “We have been monitoring the actions since early morning, before the delivery of the test packages in the 86 municipalities began. Fortunately, everything occurred without any incidents during the delivery of the packages. By 12:30 p.m., minor issues regarding electricity were reported in four municipalities; however, the electricity company resolved the problem, and the locations are proceeding normally. From here, we will continue monitoring until the conclusion of the exams and the reverse escort, ensuring security around the locations,” added the coordinator.

Tranquility - By 1 p.m., no occurrences had been registered in the area of public security. Actions continue without changes, as planned.

The electricity company acted in four municipalities and five schools that experienced power outages, normalizing service in the municipalities of São Sebastião da Boa Vista (in the Marajó Archipelago), Santa Izabel do Pará (Metropolitan Region of Belém), Senador José Porfírio (Xingu Integration Region, in the west), and Mocajuba (Tocantins Integration Region, in the northeast).

The Enem 2025 Operation involves, in an integrated manner, agents from Segup, through the Air (Graesp) and River Security Groups (GFlu); Integrated Operations Center (Ciop); Civil, Military, and Scientific Police; State Traffic Department (Detran); Municipal Guards and municipal traffic agencies, in addition to the State Department of Education (Seduc), Post Office, Army, Equatorial (electricity company), and the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), which conducts the exam.
