Oriximiná Hospital makes 3,462 appointments this year with the help of the User Service
The service functions as a communication channel between the hospital and the population, ensuring active listening and welcoming to users
The Regional Hospital of Oriximiná Menino Jesus (HRMJ), through the User Service (SAU), provided a total of 3,462 appointments to hospital users between January and October 2025. The service consolidates itself as an important regulated communication channel that strengthens the interaction between the population and the health service.
The main objective of the SAU is to offer support and clarifications about the services offered by the hospital, as well as to register compliments, complaints, and suggestions, promoting continuous improvement of care quality.
Jerlane da Silva Valeta, a 35-year-old resident of the municipality of Terra Santa, who was accompanying her brother for a tomography exam, learned about the service during her visit to the unit. "This is my first time at the hospital, and I didn't know about the service. The people are polite and welcoming, and the scheduling of the exam was super quick. I think it's important to have this channel to have a voice and help improve the service," highlighted Jerlane.
Geiza Katia Silva de Almeida, a 49-year-old reception agent and resident of Oriximiná, also used the SAU during an appointment in the imaging department. "I learned about the service through a flyer in the reception that informed the contact for questions and complaints. I noted the number, and the next day, they called me to confirm my daughter's appointment. It's excellent service," she stated.
Interaction channel with the user
Implemented on January 24, 2025, the SAU functions as a link between the user and the hospital, ensuring that manifestations are treated with attention and transparency.
The quality nurse and service supervisor, Fernanda Almeida, emphasizes the importance of the sector: "Through the SAU, our users have an active voice and are the main evaluators of the quality of our service, from entry to exit from the hospital."
Fernanda also reinforces the service's commitment to ethics and data protection: "All registered manifestations are treated promptly, with defined deadlines, seriousness, and total respect for the users' data protection legislation."

Humanized service and 100% SUS
The Regional Hospital of Oriximiná Menino Jesus is a reference in medium and high complexity in the Calha Norte region. The unit has 26 inpatient and ICU beds, in addition to 16 welcoming beds, providing comprehensive and humanized care to patients.
The hospital has a multidisciplinary team composed of nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, nutrition, psychology, and social service, as well as outpatient consultations in specialties such as anesthesiology, cardiology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, and traumatology, ensuring access to quality public health for the population of Oriximiná and the region.
