Marabá Population Receives Over 1,700 Pai D'égua Driver's Licenses
Document is issued free of charge to stimulate income generation
The government of Pará continues with the agenda of delivering National Driver's Licenses (CNH) from the Social Program CNH Pai D'égua. On the morning of this Wednesday (19), it was time to carry out new issuances in the municipality of Marabá, in the southeast of the State. More than 1,700 licenses were delivered to beneficiaries in the region.
Issued completely free of charge, the CNH Pai D'égua is a social benefit granted by the government of Pará, through the State Department of Transit (Detran), with the aim of making the document an instrument of professional valorization and access for beneficiaries to the job market and increasing family income.
The deliveries in Marabá refer to the 2024 edition, which guaranteed 60,000 free licenses in the 144 municipalities of Pará. The program in Pará is the largest in Brazil and has become a reference throughout the country for the issuance of social CNH.
The Deputy Governor, Hana Ghassan, conducted the deliveries and once again emphasized the social inclusion provided by the program. "These CNHs allow people to grow in life. We see many young people wanting a place in the job market, and the driver's license will certainly help in their project to improve their income and support their families. In fact, we are here close to the population, taking care of those in need, and ensuring public policies for people who would not have the means to access these benefits," she highlighted.
With all licenses classified as "Engages in Remunerated Activity", the CNHs Pai D'égua can be a "gateway" to realizing dreams for those who wish to work. "Detran has been working intensively to bring this benefit to all who have completed their processes. So, we hope that this delivery represents a new moment for each one present here. Take advantage of this CNH to transform your lives, without forgetting to be polite and responsible drivers on the road," emphasized the General Director of Detran, Renata Coelho.
Izabela Rocha Jucá, 28 years old, lives in Marabá and still can't believe she has realized her dream of getting her first driver's license. The young driver was awarded in categories A and B and is already making a thousand plans with the new document. "My family has a car, but I couldn't drive, and now I will be able to go out in the vehicle safely. I want to travel and then take a public exam. I was very anxious for this document, which is very wonderful for me. I believed from the beginning that I would succeed; in fact, the announcement is very clear, so I followed all the necessary procedures, everything was very organized, and the best part, without paying anything. I am very happy for this opportunity that the State gives to women," she commented.
