Photo sessions, tributes, and educational activities reinforce the bond between families and the Neonatal ICU team, promoting humanization and hope for the little warriors
On this Monday (17) and Tuesday (18), the Regional Public Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), in Breves, held a special program for "Purple November", a campaign that raises awareness about the challenges and importance of caring for premature babies.
The Neonatal ICU was filled with tenderness during a photo session titled "Neonatal ICU Garden", which captured moments of affection between mothers, babies, and the team, celebrating each achievement. The event also included tributes and educational activities focused on health, involving families and professionals in an environment of hope, unity, and care.
According to the nurse of the Neonatal ICU, Jader Aguiar, the initiative aimed to make the stay more welcoming, strengthen family bonds, and reduce anxiety during hospitalization. "The initiative directly benefited the babies and their families, reinforcing the service's commitment to technical, human, and comprehensive care," he stated.
The mother of twins Sophia and Esther, just one month old, Eliane Miranda de Oliveira, shared her emotion about participating in the program. "I thought everything was very cool, it is very rewarding. I can only thank for everything," she said. She also praised the care received at the hospital, highlighting the dedication and support of the team throughout the hospitalization.
