The match of the Brazilian Championship Series B, between Remo and Goiás, held this Sunday (23), featured a strong security scheme with about 1,500 agents integrated into ostensive, repressive, and traffic actions. To monitor the arrival of the public and the surroundings of the stadium, as well as the departure at the end of the match, the Operational Command Center (CCO) was activated with agents monitoring images from around 900 cameras installed inside and around the stadium.

From the Center, it was possible to ensure tranquility and order during the match, bringing together the mobilized public security forces, as pointed out by the Deputy Secretary of Operational Management (Sago/Segup), Colonel PM Ed-lin Anselmo.

“For the match between Remo and Goiás, we set up a robust security scheme with various cameras monitoring every detail. Managers from various agencies were gathered at the operational command center, ready to respond to any demands that arose. Our goal was to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all fans to enjoy their team's game,” he emphasized.

Action - Located in the box sector, on the B side, the 'Command Center' concentrates and streamlines security demands seeking the best and most agile resolution. The location brings together representatives from security forces, according to the strategy developed by the Public Security and Social Defense Secretariat (Segup) in a prior meeting. Monitoring by the forces began earlier with the opening of access gates to the parking lot at 1:30 PM, followed by the scheduled opening of the stadium gates, and only concluded when the movement of departure and the surroundings of the stadium finished.

Other structures and actions - In addition to the Command Center, the units installed at Mangueirão, such as the Police Battalion for Events, responsible for maintaining public order at large events, were fully operational in coordinating the ostensive actions of the Military Police troops, as well as the Delegacy for Fan Protection and Major Events and the Specialized Delegacy for Women's Assistance, which were available to ensure service and agility in recording occurrences.

During the game, 09 occurrence reports were registered, including 04 occurrences of cell phone theft, 01 occurrence of forgery of a private document, 01 occurrence of presenting material from an extinct organized fan group, and another atypical fact.

Regarding the presentations, 3 police procedures were recorded, with 2 procedures for the Crime of Sports Disturbance (art. 201 of LGE) and 01 for Invasion of Restricted Areas for Competitors or Referees and Their Assistants (art. 201, caput, final part of LGE) with three individuals presented at the police unit.

Integration - The planned actions integrated teams from Segup, through the Operational and Intelligence and Criminal Analysis sub-secretariats; Graesp (Public Security Air Group) and Ciop; Military, Civil, and Scientific police; Detran, Military Fire Department, and Seap; Seel (State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure), Public Ministry, and Public Defender; Federal Police and municipal agencies, such as Municipal Guard, Sedcon (Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development), and Segbel.
