Modernization works at the Icoaraci Citizenship Station reach 90% completion
The interventions focus on improving the quality of service and facilitating the population's access to essential public services
The government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad), is advancing in the modernization works of the Icoaraci Citizenship Station, which have already reached about 90% completion. The works focus on improving the quality of service and facilitating the population's access to essential public services.
In this phase, finishing services in the structure of the space are being completed. The conclusion will be marked by the installation of the new air conditioning system, a step that precedes the reopening of the unit.
“We are in the final stretch of the modernization of the Icoaraci Citizenship Station, with about 90% of the services completed. At this moment, we are advancing in the finishes, such as the installation of ceilings and painting, and we have already prepared the structure to receive the new air conditioning system. All this work has a very clear objective: to deliver a more comfortable, accessible, and efficient space for the population. The modernization will allow us to increase the service capacity and ensure that public services are offered with even more quality and agility,” explained Seplad's technical advisor, André Pontes, responsible for the works.
The Citizenship Stations function as integrated spaces that bring together, in one place, various municipal, state, federal agencies, and partner entities. The goal is to streamline service delivery and reduce costs and travel for citizens who need to carry out services such as document issuance, legal and social security guidance, among others.
The population recognizes the importance of the unit and the positive impact that modernization will bring. “The expectation with these works is positive, as, with more staff, the service will be expanded for the population. I have already renewed my driver's license, and it was a very quick and efficient service. The service offered at the Citizenship Station greatly facilitates people's daily lives, preventing them from having to travel to various locations,” said vendor Alexandre Mendes.
With the progress of the works, the government of Pará reinforces its commitment to providing quality services in a modern, accessible environment prepared to serve thousands of people daily.
