Concert in honor of the Lígia Amadio Contest for Solo Women is held at Theatro da Paz
Alongside the OSTP, the guest conductor Cibelle Donza calls to the stage the soloists Olívia Tebaldi and Paula Pires, winners of the award

The female protagonism will be featured on the stage of Theatro da Paz next Thursday (8), at 8 PM. Alongside the Symphony Orchestra of Theatro da Paz (OSTP), pianist Olívia Tebaldi and clarinetist Paula Pires will lead the concert "Lígia Amadio Contest for Solo Women."
In its 1st edition, the Lígia Amadio contest is exclusively organized for women, valuing talented soloists from all over Brazil. At the invitation of the Symphony Orchestra of Theatro da Paz, the two musicians awarded by the contest will be the highlights of the show, where they will perform piano solos by Olívia Tebaldi and clarinet solos by Paula Pires.
The initiative is promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Culture (Secult), Theatro da Paz, and the Paraense Music Academy (APM). Admission is free at the box office of Theatro da Paz starting at 6 PM; or can be obtained through the Ticket Fácil website (with a fee of R$2 for website maintenance). Tickets can only be picked up on the day of the concert.
Under the direction of conductor Cibelle Donza, the concert brings a repertoire of great expectations for the audience. On this occasion, the piano and Orchestra in D Major by Joseph Haydn, and the clarinet and Orchestra No. 1 in F Minor by Carl Maria Von Weber will be performed. The show will also interpret the piece "Pictures at an Exhibition," written for piano by Modest Mussorgsky – during the performance, three Pará visual artists will be honored: Berna Reale, Walda Marques, and Moara Brasil.

According to conductor Cibelle Donza, it is a great satisfaction to take the podium and present to the audience the journey of women in classical music. "It is a great representation to take the stage of Theatro da Paz as the conductor of this show. This concert is the result of a very necessary project, like the Lígia Amadio Contest for Solo Women, which expands the space for women in concert music. It is an honor to lead these talented musicians alongside our OSTP," celebrates the conductor.
At just 13 years old, Olívia Tebaldi is responsible for the piano solo performance. She defines her presentation at Theatro da Paz as an achievement in her career. "It was very exciting to participate in a contest exclusively for women, without age limitations. I have great admiration for Lígia Amadio and now I am realizing the dream of playing at Theatro da Paz, in a city I have always wanted to visit. It is an immense joy," she states.
For clarinet soloist Paula Pires, the invitation to take the stage at Theatro da Paz is a challenge that must be accepted with commitment and respect. "As a woman and a music professional, I am being challenged to expand my performance possibilities on stage, this time at Theatro da Paz. I want to establish connections with the Pará audience and reinforce my commitment to music," points out the clarinetist.
