The burning of the buses occurred near the Praça do Verdejante IV, and the investigation indicates the suspect's direct involvement in the crime of qualified damage.

During the patrol, the military personnel spotted the individual acting suspiciously, holding a package in his hands. Upon receiving a stop order, he attempted to flee and discarded several packages containing a narcotic substance. After a tactical pursuit, he was captured in a nearby alley, where the police found 62 portions of material resembling drugs, packed in a bag.

At the time of the arrest, there was an attempt to obstruct by the accused's family members, who even threw a glass cup at the police team. One of the officers was injured in the hand. To contain the resistance and ensure the safety of the unit, the agents used pepper spray.

The suspect was taken to the Civil Police Station of Ananindeua, where he remains at the disposal of the Justice. The occurrence was registered under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Fábio Campos, commander of the 30th Battalion of the PM, responsible for the area.

“We are acting firmly and continuously to ensure the safety of the population and combat the advance of crime. Today's arrest is a reflection of the integrated work and courage of our police officers, who face risky situations daily in defense of society,” highlighted Lieutenant Colonel Fábio Campos.
