Sefa seizes metal tank and also beauty products hidden among flip-flops
Seizures occurred in Cachoeira do Piriá. The Terms of Seizure and Deposit drawn up in the two actions totaled nearly R$ 83 thousand

State revenue inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa) of Pará seized, on Tuesday, the 20th, a metal tank and treatment station plates, with an irregular invoice. The officials are assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Gurupi, in Cachoeira do Piriá, northeastern Pará.
“The vehicle presented a handwritten invoice, which raised the suspicion of the inspection as it is no longer the practice in operations of goods in transit. It was decided to carry out a physical verification of the cargo, which consisted of part of a metal tank for a sewage treatment station and plates that accompany the structure,” said the coordinator of the tax unit, Gustavo Bozola.
Upon analyzing the documents, it was found that the sending company was disqualified in the registry of the State of origin. Furthermore, the manually filled invoice did not present the correct specification or the value of the goods. It only stated that it was a simple shipment but did not present any rental or service provision contract, facts that led the inspection to disregard the presented document.
The goods were valued, based on similar items in the national market, at R$ 50,000.00 and a Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was drawn up in the total amount of R$ 17,100.00 corresponding to the tax and fine for the tax infraction.

Hidden goods – On the same day, the officials from the Sefa Coordination of Gurupi seized various types of goods without invoices, valued at approximately R$ 193,000.00, hidden among a load of flip-flops.
The truck left Juazeiro do Norte (CE), heading to several cities in Pará and Amazonas, as well as Macapá (AP). The inspection team decided to carry out a physical verification of the goods and found products hidden among the load of flip-flops, such as 1,198 makeup kits; 2,266 perfumes; 10 small perfume kits; 24 makeup cases; 600 makeup kits; 150 baby doll kits, in addition to 240 speakers and 100 cookware sets.
The goods were valued, through market research, at R$ 192,320.00 and a TAD was drawn up in the amount of R$ 65,783.44.
