Seduc launches new edition of the ‘In Formação’ Magazine
The goal is to disseminate research, original texts, and scientific reports produced by researchers from the state network

Last Wednesday (28), the State Department of Education (Seduc), through the Directorate of Training (Difor), launched the 12th edition of the ‘In Formação’ Magazine, an initiative aimed at disseminating research, original texts, and scientific reports produced by researchers from the state network, as well as promoting theoretical and critical debate in the field of education. The event took place at the Center for Training Public Education Professionals of Pará (Cefor) in Belém.
“The launch of the In Formação Magazine values and recognizes the practices and research of teachers from the state network, disseminating their unpublished texts, reports, and scientific essays. In this edition, we present nine articles that reflect themes from the school daily life, consolidating the magazine as a democratic space to value the experiences and the protagonism of Pará educators,” said Raimundo Oliveira, director of Difor.
To broaden this discussion, the launch included a seminar that brought together the authors of the articles and reviewers of the magazine, promoting dialogue and exchange of experiences.

The program began with the opening led by the coordinator of Teacher Training at Difor, Dionísio Sá, and also included professors Milena Monteiro, representing the Undersecretary of Basic Education, and Marlucy Aragão from Difor, all from the Department of Education. Following this, Professor Dr. Patrícia Carvalho Cavalcante delivered an inspiring lecture on the importance of research in Basic Education, highlighting its fundamental role in transforming educational practices.
The highlight of the meeting was the thematic tables, where the author teachers presented their articles and shared experiences and discoveries in essential areas for education: inclusion and teacher training, communication and life project, and ethnic-racial relations. To conclude, the Editorial Committee officially presented the new edition of the magazine.
“When I learned about the call for papers, I was motivated by the possibility of publishing and very happy to receive the feedback from the editors, which gave me the opportunity to share the research I am developing, especially on the tenth anniversary of the Informação Magazine. It is a great satisfaction to share the knowledge produced in the Amazon by teachers from the state education network. My research dialogues with the history of people who, in the final years of slavery in Pará (19th century), sought education as a life project and social transformation. It highlights the protagonism of children and young people, children of enslaved women who, upon gaining freedom, saw education as a chance to change their lives and make their mark in formal education,” highlights Carlos Denizar, a teacher at the State School Dona Helena Guilhon.

Thematic axes - With an annual frequency, the first issue of the magazine was published in October 2015, with 102 pages and eight texts, covering four axes: "Management of Public Policies in Education", "Knowledge, Diversities, Teaching Practices in Basic Education", “Teacher Training” and "Curriculum and Assessment of Learning in Basic Education".
