Registrations open for the event "Cultural mediation is a meeting: between theory and practice of a collective doing"
The event will address in its program content the conceptualization of cultural mediation, the historical panorama, the strategies and educational materials in the area.
With registrations open until June 18 and taking place from June 23 to 27, the event has 20 spots available, running from 2 PM to 6 PM at the House of Arts, and is aimed at art students and teachers, artists, and all interested parties aged 18 and over.
The event will address in its program content the conceptualization of cultural mediation, the historical panorama, the strategies and educational materials in the area. The course aims to share knowledge and propose mediation dynamics in order to enhance practice in cultural spaces and classrooms.
The course will be taught by Caio Paixão, a trans man, who holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Pará. Caio is a cultural mediator and has a background primarily in the field of art education in cultural spaces as a coordinator and supervisor in various instances and awards.
"At the end of the course, all participants will be able to create cultural mediation scripts and develop educational proposals for different audiences in cultural spaces or classrooms," says Caio Paixão.
The course aims to present a historical overview of cultural mediation, think about creating dialogues with different audiences, and connect knowledge and worldviews among participants. Free event with a certificate issued for participants with at least 90% attendance.
