Sefa seizes whiskey, gin, soybeans, and electrical materials without ICMS invoices
The Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) issued by the state tax inspection in these occurrences total R$ 664,296.35.
State tax inspectors seized on Saturday, the 14th, 960 boxes of distilled beverages, including 840 boxes of whiskey and 120 boxes of gin. The goods, valued at R$ 787,590.00, originated from Aparecida de Goiânia (GO) and were destined for Benevides (PA) and were retained by the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Itinga, from the State Department of Finance (Sefa), in Dom Eliseu, northeastern Pará.
“During the inspection, it was verified that the advance tax collection on the entry of the beverages was missing, as required by law. Therefore, a Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was issued in the amount of R$ 541,290.15, referring to the ICMS and fine,” informed the coordinator, Rafael Brasil.
Soybeans – On the same day, 31,840 kilograms of soybeans were seized, a load valued at R$ 58,585.00, which left Barcarena (PA) destined for Santos (SP) and was unaccompanied by fiscal documentation. Upon analyzing the presented documents, it was verified that the invoice was limited to an internal operation in the state of Mato Grosso. “However, since the driver was leaving the state of Pará with the load, without the required fiscal documents for the operation, the irregularity was characterized,” reported the state tax inspector.
A Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was issued in the amount of R$ 12,654.36, referring to the ICMS and fine.
Araguaia - Inspection carried out by the team of the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Araguaia, from the State Department of Finance of Pará (Sefa), at km-15 of PA-447, in Conceição do Araguaia, southeast of the state, seized on Saturday, the 14th, 10,000 kg of electrical materials, valued at R$ 362,999.47.
“The driver of a box truck presented non-fiscal sales invoices to a taxpayer, leaving Senador Canedo (GO), destined for a legal entity without state registration in Rio Maria (PA). Upon consulting the system, we saw that the sender issued a fiscal document as being a participant in the Simples Nacional, which was disqualified upon consulting the Federal Revenue website; in fact, the sender was never a participant in the regime,” reported the coordinator of the tax unit, Renato Couto.
The goods were checked and electrical materials were found, such as transformers, electrical switches, connectors, and electrical cables, totaling approximately 10 tons.
The goods are retained and a TAD was issued in the total amount of R$ 110,351.84, for failing to collect the differential ICMS rate (Difal) to the state of Pará.
