Government of Pará delivers new structure of the Military Firefighters' Education City
With an investment of over R$ 3.6 million, the structure is intended for the training and specialization of the corporation's members

The Government of Pará delivered this Wednesday (25) the new structure of the Military Firefighters' Education City, located in Ananindeua (Metropolitan Region of Belém). The area has been rebuilt and now has approximately 4,600 square meters (m²), including classrooms, cafeteria, entrance portico, SAT, female accommodation for officers, locker room, and accommodation for the Training Course for Soldiers (CFP), storage, and guard.
Governor Helder Barbalho emphasized that the work reinforces the State's commitment to the appreciation and qualification of public safety, ensuring better infrastructure conditions for the training and qualification of military personnel.
"It is a very important structure because here we will be training soldiers, corporals, sergeants, warrant officers, our military firefighters. So that they have an adequate structure for qualification and training, including with our civil servants, who are currently in training to be integrated into the troop. With this, we have a specific structure for the training of officers and a new structure for the training of military firefighters in Pará," emphasized the governor.
Modern Structure - Colonel Jayme de Aviz Benjó, the general commander of the Military Firefighters, recalled that the delivery, close to the National Firefighters' Day - July 2, is a significant investment to strengthen public safety. The investment of R$ 3,673,138.14 used resources from the State Fund for Military Firefighters (Febom).
"We are in the prevention week, which precedes July 2, which is the National Firefighters' Day in Brazil. This investment from the state government is of great relevance. More than R$ 3 million have been invested, where 12 classrooms were built, our entrance portico, which clearly shows the importance of a training school. It is a modern structure that clearly demonstrates the government's concern in strengthening the public safety system, especially the Fire Department," stated the general commander of the corporation.

Training - The director of Education and Instruction, Colonel Alessandra, reinforced the importance of the Education City for the training of firefighters. "This is a very happy moment for our institution, when we receive the Education City, a very important facility for the training of our soldiers, for our specialization in military firefighting. It is here that our professionals are trained, and it is here that our professionals specialize to serve society well," she added.

Yanka Souza, who is taking the soldiers' training course, shares the team's satisfaction with the new structure. "The structure is very good. We have new equipment that meets our needs as students, and instructors who provide all the support. From the first day, we had materials available, and we continue in this training, so that the materials are provided to us, making our training more faithful to what we will find out there. It is a dream I have had since childhood, to be a firefighter, and realizing this dream is becoming much better with this structure, which is also a fundamental part of my training," she assured.
