Civil Police arrests leader of the Comando Vermelho during operation in Ourém
According to the investigations, the arrested individual held strategic positions in the faction, acting as "Tower" and "Mission Designer," and maintained direct influence over the commission of crimes even while distant from the main area of operation.
One of the main members of the criminal faction Comando Vermelho in Pará was arrested this Thursday (03) in the municipality of Ourém during an operation by the Civil Police. The suspect was the target of a preventive arrest warrant and was also caught in the act for using a false document at the time of the approach.
He is identified as responsible for coordinating extortions and commanding criminal actions in the neighborhoods of Curuçambá and Paar, in Ananindeua, even while hiding in the interior of the state.
"Even outside the Metropolitan Region, he maintained control over serious criminal actions. This operation demonstrates that the Civil Police is acting with intelligence and firmness in confronting the factions that threaten the safety of the population," stated delegate Breno Ruffeil, director of the Delegacia de Repressão às Facções Criminosas (DRFC).
At the time of the approach, the investigated individual presented a false document in an attempt to hinder his identification, being immediately caught in the act. Cell phones, a car, and a motorcycle were also seized. All items will be examined.

The action was carried out by the Delegacia de Repressão às Facções Criminosas (DRFC), linked to the Divisão de Repressão ao Crime Organizado (DRCO), with support from the Coordenadoria de Recursos Especiais (CORE), the Núcleo de Inteligência Policial (NIP), and the Núcleo de Apoio à Investigação de Capanema (NAI Capanema).
The judicial order was issued by the Vara de Combate ao Crime Organizado, with a favorable opinion from the Grupo de Atuação Especial de Repressão ao Crime Organizado (GAECO/MPPA). The suspect underwent the necessary procedures and is at the disposal of the Justice.
