Seju brings more than 450 services to residents of Baião and Mocajuba
Issuance of documents and updating registration on the gov.br platform were the most requested services
“I couldn’t access my account on the gov.br platform and, therefore, I couldn’t declare my income tax. I had tried other times before and was even discouraged. But I decided to ask for support here at the event, and it worked. I’m happy that I was able to resolve it!” said teacher Patrícia Gomes, a resident of the municipality of Baião, in the Tocantins Integration Region, one of the people assisted by the Citizenship Caravan, which the State Department of Justice (Seju) held from June 30 to July 3.

In addition to Baião, Seju served the population of Mocajuba, in the same region, providing more than 450 services in various areas, including referrals and issuance of documents such as ID, certificates, and second copies of CPF, as well as regularizing registration on the gov.br platform, which allows access to the digital work card and social security.
Update - According to the assistant of the Citizenship Coordination and Justice Ombudsman, Cimara Vidal, the issuance of documents was one of the most requested services. “The demand for the second copy of the certificate was high. There were people with very old documents, still handwritten. We also reached many people who needed to update their registration on the gov.br platform because, if they didn’t regularize access, they would probably lose benefits,” she explained.

There was also a lot of demand from parents for their children's identity cards. “It is a document required in schools and other institutions. At Seju, we have the My First ID Project, aimed specifically at serving children up to 12 years old. It was a highly demanded service that, fortunately, we were able to provide,” Cimara Vidal added, also highlighting the demand for ID with identification seal for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
