The Civil Police, with the support of the Military Police, arrested a woman in the act on Saturday (12), suspected of torturing another woman, in a case that gained attention after a video was shared on social media.

“In the images, the victim appears naked, tied up, with her hair cut, and being forced to insert objects into her intimate parts. As soon as we became aware of the video, we initiated immediate actions to identify the crime scene, rescue the victim, and clarify the facts,” explains the regional superintendent, delegate Erivaldo Campelo.

The property where the crime occurred was located by the teams from the Pacajá Police Station. The location was isolated and underwent forensic examination. Two pistols, a firearm replica, 25 rounds of ammunition, the objects used in the assault, and the victim's cut hair were seized.

After intense searches, the victim was found alive and received medical attention. She was then taken for shelter and specialized follow-up. Forensic examinations were requested to complement the investigation.

According to the victim's testimony, the motivation for the crime was passion-related, linked to an alleged relationship with the aggressor's partner.

After the criminal act, the suspect fled to the municipality of Uruará, where she was located with the support of the Investigation Support Center (NAI) from Tucuruí and local police forces.

She was taken to the Uruará police station, where she was arrested in the act for the crime of torture.
