Civil Police advises on crimes against women on beaches
The action takes place during another weekend of the Summer Operation 2025, with guidance and distribution of informational material

The Civil Police of Pará, through teams from the Directorate of Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (DAV), carries out awareness actions on crimes against children, adolescents, the elderly, and women, providing guidance on how to report and prevention methods. There is also distribution of informational material and posters promoting the Specialized Police Station for Women's Virtual Assistance (Deam Virtual).

“The itinerant team from DAV guides people on the most common types of crimes against vulnerable groups, especially regarding sexual harassment and violence against women. We distributed informational materials at Marudá Beach (in the municipality of Marapanim) and at the ferry terminal to Algodoal Island. We also posted promotional posters for Deam Virtual in commercial establishments, so that anyone knows the quickest way to report any type of domestic and family violence against women,” explained delegate Marília Marchiori from Deam Ananindeua.
This weekend, actions will be carried out in Mosqueiro (district of Belém), Salinópolis, Marapanim, Curuçá, and other locations that receive increased policing with the Summer Operation 2025.

Report - “I see the action of the police officers as very important for spreading information. Many women do not report due to fear or lack of information about their rights. I have been in a relationship where I was assaulted and threatened with death for many years. But I managed to report and request protective measures against my ex-partner. Women need to know where to seek help and should not be afraid to report,” emphasized self-employed Jaquelina Lobato.
During the distribution of informational material and guidance, a victim came to the Marudá Police Station to report the threats she suffered from her ex-partner on Thursday night (24).

“The victim came here to the Marudá Police Station and reported that her ex-partner went to her residence armed with a knife to threaten her, and that he only did not enter the property because he was stopped by her family. Based on the report, we registered the Occurrence Bulletin and requested protective measures against the aggressor from the Justice. Witnesses and the accused will be summoned, and subsequently, his arrest will be requested,” detailed delegate Rodrigo Dantas, head of the Marudá Police Station.
Support Channels - The Deam Virtual, a channel created to help women victims of domestic, family, or intimate partner violence, serves demands throughout Pará, operating without interruption (24h).

Reports can be made in any location in the State, through the “Deam Virtual” service, on the website of the Civil Police of Pará (www.pc.pa.gov.br). The tool allows the victim to register occurrences, request urgent protective measures, and access services, such as expert examinations and support without having to leave home.
The Civil Police of Pará also emphasizes the importance of the Disque-Denúncia, number 181. If anyone has any information that could assist in the investigation of the crime, the report can be made anonymously and free of charge from any phone, and it is also possible to send images, videos, audios, or locations to the virtual attendant "Iara", at the number (91) 98115-9181.
