Cidadania Station works in Breves advance to better serve Marajó
The unit will concentrate services from Detran, Civil Police, Banpará, Institute of Assistance for State Servants of Pará (Iasep) and others

The works of the Cidadania Station in Breves, in the Marajó archipelago, mark an important advance in the process of implementing another unit of the state project that brings together, in a single space, various essential public services for the population.
The project is part of the Government of Pará's policy to decentralize and expand the population's access to services such as document issuance, legal guidance, unemployment insurance, registration in social programs, and other services. With the new unit, residents of Breves and neighboring municipalities will have easier access, without the need for long trips to the capital or other major cities in Pará.
“We are closely monitoring each stage to ensure that the work is delivered with the quality that the population of Breves deserves. We have already completed important structural services and are now moving on to phases that involve roofing, plumbing, and electrical installations. The Cidadania Station will be a modern, accessible space prepared to serve all citizens of Marajó with dignity and comfort,” highlighted André Pontes, technical advisor of Seplad.

Among the services planned for the construction are the installation of fiber cement tiles throughout the roofing area, with the replacement of damaged wooden framing, in addition to waterproofing with gutters and flashings.
The unit will also receive new granite countertops, toilets, urinals, and modern finishes in the bathrooms and service areas. The installation of complete frames - doors, windows, and hoppers - is also planned, along with the execution of tactile and cement flooring, and the application of PVC, acrylic, and synthetic enamel paint in internal, external, and metal surfaces, ensuring accessibility, durability, and comfort for users.

In addition to the construction of the Breves unit, other units are also undergoing expansion and modernization works, such as those in Santarém, Guamá, and Icoaraci.

With the work underway, the expectation is that the Cidadania Station in Breves will become an important reference point for the provision of public services in Marajó, contributing to regional development and improving the quality of life of the population.
