Continuing the schedule of technical inspections of the State Department of Education (Seduc), the education team visited, on the morning of this Saturday (20), four state public schools in the municipality of Salinópolis, in northeastern Pará.

The head of Seduc, Ricardo Sefer, started at the Dom Bosco State School of Elementary and Secondary Education, a unit with over 50 years of history. He then inspected the Laura do Carmo Vicuna School with the aim of aligning what measures can and should be adopted to improve the spaces and ensure more comfort and well-being for students and the entire school team.

"I joke that I am the secretary of problems; I go to the schools that have problems. What is working and going well, I joke that I don't even want to see. I want it to continue and to keep bringing results. The role of the secretary is to see where I can effectively help. Whether in the school's infrastructure, in services, in pedagogical practices, everything you need to do better," emphasized the Secretary of Education, Ricardo Sefer.

On this occasion, the mayor of Salinópolis, Kaká Sena, participated in the action, which will enable the partnership between the administrations and strengthen public education in the municipality.

Next, the education team got to know the reality of the Tiradentes State School and also greeted the students who were at the Aracy Alves State School participating in the Enem Pará review class, promoted by Seduc.

The secretary talked to the students about the importance of education in each one's life.

"I am an tireless person and I would like to ask you to also be tireless in your mission, which is to study, study a lot, dedicate yourselves, take advantage of the opportunity to have a class like this and so many others that you have to dedicate yourselves to achieve the best possible performance in SAEB and ENEM. Education will allow you to have something that is fundamental: the freedom to choose, to decide what I will be in my life. Studying is what opens doors for our lives," concluded the head of Seduc.

To conclude, the Seduc delegation and authorities visited the Eurides Brito State School, located in the Cuiarana Village, rural area of the municipality, and the Adriano Santa Brigida unit, in the São Bento Village, to talk with the professionals of the school unit.

The head of the DRE of Capanema, Cristina Reis, thanked the presence of the Seduc delegation and other authorities present for providing a space for listening to ensure quality education.

"I want to thank the students, teachers, staff, and our directors - what I usually call educational leaders within each school. So, thank you very much for the work, for the effort, for the strength. You are people who inspire us more and more to work. So, you are warriors here in the municipality," said Cristina Reis.
