Gás do Pará discusses expansion strategies across the State
Gás do Pará Company met with a logistics transport specialist company

Gás do Pará (GdP) received directors from Grupo Reicon on Wednesday in a meeting at the Company's headquarters to assess the feasibility of a partnership in search of logistical solutions for the transportation of Natural Gas in the State, bringing the product from Barcarena to the western and southeastern regions of Pará, as well as to other municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Belém.
During the meeting, GdP's CEO, Flexa Ribeiro, the administrative financial director André Macedo, and the technical commercial director Paulo Guardado discussed the expectation of expanding the Company's service network for customers awaiting the arrival of NG in areas such as Baixo Amazonas and Baixo Tocantins. A reference in logistics in the Pará territory, with extensive experience in the road-fluvial transportation of liquid fuels in the North region, Reicon was represented by directors José Rebelo III, Francisco Guzzo Júnior, and Pelágio Carvalho.
The goal of GdP is to find logistical alternatives to deliver Natural Gas in liquid form (LNG) in large volumes to the Metropolitan Region of Belém and to more distant municipalities or districts, such as Marabá, Oriximiná, Munguba, and Juruti.

“We have been approached by representatives from various companies and municipalities interested in using Natural Gas, and we are studying alternatives to reach each of these locations,” emphasizes GdP's CEO, Flexa Ribeiro. “Our board and employees are dedicated to bringing Natural Gas as a new energy source, enabling the energy transition across the State, following the governor Helder's and vice Hana's directive of 'Gas Throughout Pará',” he concludes.
Additionally, the Company is advancing with the implementation of a logistics system for the use of trailers in the transportation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), delivering the product within a radius of up to 150 km from Barcarena, including the Metropolitan Region of Belém. This project is another step towards enabling the introduction of Vehicle Natural Gas (VNG) in the State, offering Pará consumers a new, more economical, and less polluting alternative for fueling vehicles.
