The Amazônia Jazz Band will lead the show "Brazilian and Pará Rhythms" on Monday, the 27th, at 8 PM, at Theatro da Paz, under the direction of the principal conductor Eduardo Lima with the participation of singer Sandra Duailibe.

The show is an initiative of the Government of Pará through the State Secretariat of Culture (Secult), Theatro da Paz, and the Pará Academy of Music, with master sponsorship from the Vale Cultural Institute through the Rouanet Law.

Conductor Eduardo Lima explains that the choice of the show featuring regional and Brazilian rhythms aims to reaffirm the commitment of the Amazônia Jazz Band to valuing the music, arrangers, and artists from the State of Pará. "On this night of Pará and Brazilian music, we will have several soloists, such as Vinicius Ribeiro, Toninho Gonçalves, Pedro Júnior, and the very special participation of singer Sandra Duailibe singing two great classics of Pará music. I have no doubt that this night will be a great celebration, and the audience can expect, as always, the show with the unique energy of the Jazz Band."

The hits of Brazilian and Pará music are part of the repertoire, highlighting "Aquarela do Brasil", "Foi Assim", "Pecados de Adão", "Ao pôr do sol", among others. "The audience can expect an incredible concert with the usual dedication of all the musicians, and it aims to show more and more the plurality of Brazil and national music as a whole," emphasizes the drummer of the Big Band, Tiago Belém.

According to Tiago Belém, the repertoire brings together various rhythms from Brazil, such as samba, frevo, and Pará music. "It will be a beautiful concert with special guests, the audience can expect an incredible concert, celebrating Brazilian music, the plurality, and the richness of the country's rhythms."

Tickets cost R$ 2 and can be purchased starting at 9 AM on October 27 at the box office of Theatro da Paz (2 units per person).
