The Pará Socio-Educational Service Foundation (Fasepa) participated, this Friday (24), in the 37th Ordinary Meeting of the State Commission of the National Socio-Educational Service System (Sinase). The meeting brought together representatives from Fasepa, the State Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (Cedca), the Guardianship Council, the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (Creas), and the Public Prosecutor's Office of the State of Pará, reaffirming the collective commitment to improving socio-educational service policies in the State.

During the meeting, reports were presented on the Regional Meeting of Medium Complexity, as well as the proposal to extend the validity of the Decennial Socio-Educational Service Plan of the State of Pará, as established by Article 1 of Resolution No. 104, of August 5, from the State Council for Children and Adolescents (Cedca).

Another highlight was the participation of the Pará delegation, composed of representatives from Fasepa, the State Council for Children and Adolescents (Cedca), the Guardianship Council, the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (Creas), and the Public Prosecutor's Office, at the National Seminar for Updating the National Socio-Educational Service Plan, recently held in Brasília. The national event allowed for the sharing of experiences and the strengthening of the articulation among the different actors that make up the socio-educational system.

The agenda of the 37th meeting also included the construction of a transition protocol for adolescents serving socio-educational measures in closed environments to open environments, aiming to ensure a safer, structured passage aligned with the continuity of follow-up actions. Strategies for expanding access to judicial documentation and technical instruments related to the trajectory of adolescents in the socio-educational system were also discussed.

For Prosecutor Antônio Lopes Maurício, the Sinase Commission represents the main space for debate on socio-education in Pará, as it brings together different institutions and agencies committed to the cause.

“The topics discussed here today were very good. I hope these contributions result in advances and improvements in the socio-education of the State of Pará,” highlighted the prosecutor.

The meeting reinforced the commitment of the involved institutions to strengthen public policies aimed at socio-education, seeking to improve flows, protocols, and practices that ensure the integral development of adolescents serving socio-educational measures in Pará.
