On the morning of this Friday (31), the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime (Ficco/PA) and the Civil Police of Pará, through the Criminal Factions Working Group (GTF/NIP), launched Operation 'Coalition for Peace', aiming to execute preventive arrest warrants issued by the Court of Justice of the State of Pará (TJPA), which granted a request made by the Special Action Group in the Fight Against Organized Crime (Gaeco/MPPA).

According to delegate Vitor Fontes from Ficco/PA, the police investigation identified that those arrested played strategic roles within the criminal organization. “The suspects were responsible for planning and executing violent actions, including property damage, vehicle arson, robberies, homicides, and attacks against public security agents,” he stated.

The arrests took place in cities in Pará, such as Abaetetuba, Tomé-Açu, Santa Izabel, Paragominas, Tailândia, and Salinópolis, as well as in Brusque and Florianópolis in Santa Catarina.

The success of the operation involved the work of Gaeco/MPPA and the support of various public security units, including Seap/PA, Investigation Support Centers from several cities, Homicide Police Stations, Civil Police Superintendencies, Criminal Investigation Divisions, and the Special Operations Coordination of Santa Catarina (Core/SC).

FICCO/PA is a task force composed of the Federal Police, Civil Police of the State of Pará, and the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat, aimed at carrying out integrated actions to combat organized crime in the State of Pará.
