The event, which runs until November 21, takes place on the campus of the Center for Social Sciences and Education (CCSE), with the theme "For a Pedagogy of Territories and Biomes – Education for Climate Management and Planet Protection."

For the vice-rector of Uepa, Professor Ilma Pastana, participating in the National Forum on Indigenous School Education is a great honor for the State University of Pará, as well as hosting and accommodating activities at the Center for Social Sciences and Education. "The university has made an investment in the Indigenous Intercultural Teaching Degree and now, with the reservation of places for all courses, whether in education, engineering, health, and other demands, indigenous education is a right for all," highlighted Professor Ilma. The indigenous participants will be accommodated on campus I of Uepa throughout the event.

The opening ceremony was marked by rituals of Earth Protection, followed by the presentation of the regions and territories represented and integration meetings.
