Setur presents attractions to tourism operators in Foz do Iguaçu (PR)
The presence of Pará at the meeting reinforces the work to increase the visibility of the State in the national market, boosting the flow of visitors and preparing the destination for international events, such as COP 30

Pará was among the highlights of the Agente Tá On – Na Estrada event, promoted by Azul Viagens, which brought together around 280 travel agents in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), from June 6 to 8. The State Department of Tourism (Setur) participated in the action focused on promoting the main tourist destinations in Pará, such as Belém, Marajó, and Santarém, to professionals with high sales volumes across Brazil.
The Tá On – Na Estrada program included in-person training for invited agents — selected based on sales performance — as well as panels, destination presentations, partner brand activations, and sensory experiences. The event featured representatives from the national trade, operators, airlines, and tourism departments from various regions of the country.
The Marketing Coordinator of Setur, Victor Lopes, actively participated in the training and networking activities promoted by the operator. “It was a strategic event to promote Pará's destinations to highly qualified agents. I had the opportunity to talk to many professionals from different regions of the country and provide training for 60 agents, which strengthens the State's presence as a priority destination on travel agency shelves,” he stated. “Another very positive aspect of the event is that we will do follow-up work in partnership with the operator to help format new products for this audience later this year,” Victor reveals.
The presence of Pará at the meeting reinforces the work to increase the visibility of the State in the national market, boosting the flow of visitors and preparing the destination for international events, such as the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 30), which will be held in Belém in 2025.

With the support of Azul Viagens, the event helped strengthen the bond between Brazilian destinations and tourism agents, valuing the role of these professionals in building travel experiences and driving the tourism production chain in the country.
“Training these agents is essential for them to gain a deeper understanding of the differentiators of our state, which combines lush nature, rich culture, and unique cuisine. We are building a solid image of Pará as a sustainable and competitive destination,” Victor Lopes concluded.
