The State Department of Public Health (Sespa) held the inauguration ceremony for the new civil servants approved in the public competition C-220 on the afternoon of this Wednesday (18). A total of 54 professionals were sworn in to strengthen the teams at the Central Level of the Department and the State Central Laboratory (Lacen), both in Belém.

The civil servants were appointed in the State Official Gazette (DOE) No. 36,232, published on May 20, and since then have completed all required steps, such as medical examination and document submission.

A total of 38 administrative agents, 6 nursing technicians, 8 auditor nurses, and 2 biomedical scientists were sworn in. The Secretary of Public Health of Pará, Ivete Vaz, emphasized the importance of the appointment.

“These new professionals arrive at a strategic moment to join the teams and enhance care for the population. This is an important step to strengthen public health in Pará,” she stated.
