During the programming in the 144 municipalities, National Family Agriculture Registrations (CAF) and Rural Environmental Registrations (CAR) were delivered.

To celebrate the diversity and appreciation of those who produce in the field, the Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company promoted the Family Farmer Week in all 144 municipalities of Pará. The event was organized by the 12 regional offices of Emater and their respective local offices.
The Family Farmer Week is held in commemoration of the International Day of Family Farming, celebrated this Friday (25). The date was established by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). In recent days, meetings, discussion circles, and field activities were held with the participation of Emater technicians, farmers, rural youth, community leaders, schools, and partner institutions.

During the programming, National Family Agriculture Registrations (CAF), Rural Environmental Registrations (CAR) were delivered, and lectures on rural credits, such as the 2025/2026 Safra Plan, were held. There were also meetings and workshops on various topics, planting seedlings, signing financing projects for investments for family farmers, registration of the Artisan Products Seal, among other activities.

Marineide Pereira took the opportunity to bring bananas, apples, bananas, kale, among other products that she produces. She participated in the 1st Women of the Field Fair in the Municipality of Trairão, a pilot event within the programming of the I Family Agriculture Week. The Fair aimed to draw the attention of the region's residents and is intended to be held every 15 days, expanding the marketing options for family farming products as a tool for women's empowerment and gender equality.
"It was good for us farmers this organization by Emater, during the Family Farmer Week, as well as the support on this day, promoting this event. I was able to bring various products to the fair," said Marineide.

Paulo Renan, a cocoa producer in the Xingu Region, said that the programming promoted by Emater was rewarding and expanded the learning for the rural man. "For us, it is important to bring these discussion circles to learn more about family farming. I thank Emater for the support, which helps us expand our work on a large scale," he stated.
In daily activities, Emater promotes technical assistance with technical visits, providing access to rural credit and tools to improve their sustainable practices. The initiative recognizes and values family farming as a central axis of food security, sustainable rural development, and the preservation of traditional knowledge and cultures.

Recognition and dedication - Camila Salim, environmental engineer at Emater, emphasizes that events like this are important to recognize the role of the farmer in our daily lives, which is often overlooked due to its significance.
"They are the ones who feed our families, sustain the economy, care for our lands with love and dedication. Being a farmer is also about celebrating diversity because agriculture involves not only food production but also tradition, identity, and they represent a deep respect for nature and communities," she stated.

For Cristiane Corrêa, state technical coordinator of Emater, the feeling of working for the benefit of small farmers is one of great satisfaction and pride. "We see families in our state having their lives transformed through our work, strengthening their productions, ensuring greater economic structure, enabling education for their children, building their homes. And besides that, they also put quality food on the table of the people of Pará," she said.
The commitment of the Government of Pará, through Emater, to transform the lives of small farmers is one of the main objectives of those who work directly in the field and know where and how the benefits should reach. With investment and dedication to families operating in all 144 municipalities.

"Emater Pará generated more than two million reais, just this year, for strengthening family farming. It is a great satisfaction to see them having their financial autonomy, with their own businesses, in municipal, state, national, and even international marketing, and we are present in this evolution because our investment is with actions and resources to strengthen the small farmer, so that he increases his production and family income," emphasized the technical coordinator.
