Seduc Management Brings Presence and Solutions to Schools in Capitão Poço
Visits to Regional Directorates allow for a real diagnosis of the needs of the state network and strengthen public policies for the advancement of education throughout the State
Following the schedule of visits to the Regional Directorates of Education (DRE) in the northeastern region of the State, the management of the State Department of Education (Seduc) was in the municipality of Capitão Poço on Wednesday (19), reinforcing the commitment to the continuous improvement of public education. The agenda reflects Seduc's commitment to closely monitor the reality of schools, identify demands, align solutions, and strengthen educational management throughout the Pará territory.
The delegation was formed by the Secretary of State for Education, Ricardo Sefer, the Director of Educational Management, Cláudia Ferreira, the Deputy Secretary of Infrastructure, Lázaro Lima, and the President of the Foundation for the Support of the Development of Education in Pará (Fadep), Ricardo Carneiro.
Secretary Ricardo Sefer thanked the commitment of the staff and emphasized that the visits are essential for making assertive decisions and for the advancement of public education in Pará.
“We are trying to solve issues and advance even further in education, but I know we still have a lot to do. And there is no way to solve it without looking into the eyes of each staff member, visiting each DRE, and seeing the real needs. It is impressive how, during the visits, we can resolve many issues and ensure new advancements. It is the care, the dedication. Solve everything that is small, try the medium, and plan for what is big,” he highlighted.
The DRE of Capitão Poço serves about six thousand students from the municipalities of Capitão Poço, Garrafão do Norte, and Nova Esperança do Piriá.
During the agenda, the schools Dionísio Hage - located in the community of Nova Colônia and the first unit of the state network to implement an ecological pit - were visited, in addition to the schools Osvaldo Cruz, Professora Terezinha Bezerra Siqueira, Antônio Valdenir Araújo de Lima, and Padre Vitaliano Maria Vari.
The regional director, Elizângela de Souza, highlighted the relevance of the state management's presence in the region. According to her, “the differentiated perspective of the secretary strengthens management, enhances the work of the regional office, and directly contributes to the improvement of education, as it allows for the search for real solutions aligned with the needs of the schools.”
This is the second DRE visited by Seduc this week and the 24th of the 40 Regional Directorates already visited by the current management. The goal is to visit all DREs by December, ensuring a quick and accurate on-site diagnosis of the needs of the state network.
